Ask any active parent about fundraising and you will likely get a roll of the eyes and a sense of exasperation. There seems to be a fundraiser of some sort every couple of months. It gets old. You can only buy so many grill brushes, first aid kits, cookies and miscellanious stuff you can live without.

The Yabba Dabba News plan allows you to spend what you normally spend and receive a 10% (up to 18%) income stream back to your group. If you are familiar with Scrip, then you have the idea. What is different here is that you have local businesses to chose from. We even encourage (bribe) you to tell us about businesses that you would like us to add to our list. It is a great deal for the businesses to get involved. A great source of regular income for your group. Plus you learn what businesses are willing to help your group out!

Tools to Succeed!

As a participating group, you will have your own web page with video, graphics, text and calendar content. Sounds complicated? Not at all. We have taken the time and effort to make it simple for you to set up and maintain. There is also advertising space for you to sell on your page.
Your calendar information will show up on the master calendar for the region. So if you have a special event coming up it will be seen by more people from other groups in your region. A great way to make your group grow!

To get your group started is a simple process. We will come out to one of your meetings and explain the details, set up your site access and walk you through the whole process.

How your group makes money...

10% Scrip or Earn UP To 18%!

Shoppers are forced to select a local group before shopping. When they make a purchase it is recorded by the Affiliate software. As a participating group, you can log into your Affiliate account and see what your sales have been. Your group receives a quarterly check for 10% of sales attributed to visitors of your page.

We can even have items specific only to your group. So if a business wants to only help YOUR group... no problem! We will make their items only available by selecting your group.

Want to earn 18%?
Your group will be paid an extra 8% on any offers from businesses that you bring to us.

Banner Ad Sales

If you have nosed around the internet much, you know that advertising is paying the way for a lot of content. Most of the ads are in the form of a banner. On your group's site we have the regional ads rotating through your page. You can sell ads specifically for your page and earn a commission. Your group receives 40% of all ads sold for your site!

Print Flyers

Now you're wondering, how do I get my group to use the site? Make our calendar THE calendar for your group. Promote the shopping feature as an ongoing fundraiser. Encourage the purchase of gift certificates through the site by printing a special copy of your site page. We have designed in a simple way for you to print your page to use as a fundraiser! The flyer will have your group's information, pictures and the way for people to go shopping. Print them out and get the ball rolling!
